ČEZ is a Czech Republic-based company engaged in the production and distribution of electricity. The Company's core businesses are generation and distribution of electricity, electricity trading, generation and distribution of heat, gas trading, and relate activities. Apart from its domestic Czech market, ČEZ Group operates also in Albania, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey. The Czech Republic remained the company’s largest shareholder with nearly a 70% stake at the end of 2012.
