On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 1.68% at the end of 2018, up from -0.657% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 33.1% in 2007 and an all time low of -0.657% in 2017. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 8.63%.
At the end of 2018, Central Bank of India's loans accounted for 49.1% of total deposits and 44.4% of total assets.
