CEC Bank - Market Share in Retail Deposits

CEC Bank's retail deposits reached RON 17,856 mil in 2016, down 1.07% compared to the previous year.

Romanian banking sector accepted retail deposits of RON 163 bil in 2016, up 11.4% when compared to the last year.

CEC Bank accounted for 10.9% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Romania at the end of 2016. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 13.4% in 2013 and an all time low of 10.9% in 2016.

That's compared to a 7.15% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2016.
