Historically, cattle meat consumption per capita in Comoros reached an all time high of 5.63 kg in 2014 and an all time low of 2.68 kg in 2019. When compared to Comoros's main peers, cattle meat consumption per capita in Kenya amounted to 4.53 kg, 1.26 kg in Madagascar, 0.560 kg in Mozambique and 7.82 kg in Tanzania in 2020.
