Cattle meat consumption per capita fell 18.6% to 3.55 kg in Mali in 2020, according to Faostat.

Historically, cattle meat consumption per capita in Mali reached an all time high of 10.6 kg in 2012 and an all time low of 3.55 kg in 2020. When compared to Mali's main peers, cattle meat consumption per capita in Algeria amounted to 3.83 kg, 5.31 kg in Burkina Faso, 6.35 kg in Mauritania and 2.84 kg in Niger in 2020.
