Historically, cassava production in Nigeria reached an all time high of 65,351 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 7,384 kt in 1961. When compared to Nigeria's main peers, cassava production in Benin amounted to 4,219 kt, 4,994 kt in Cameroon, 295 kt in Chad and 760 kt in Niger in 2021.
