Historically, cassava production in Vietnam reached an all time high of 10,910 kt in 2016 and an all time low of 930 kt in 1969. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, cassava production in Cambodia amounted to 7,722 kt, 4,954 kt in China, 2,886 kt in Laos and 30,108 kt in Thailand in 2021.
