BILLA has nearly tripled its sales in the Czech Republic over the last decade to more than USD 1 bil. Following the record year of 2010, however, when the Company made a net profit of CZK 368 mil, the profitability turned into the red figures in 2011-2012.
Before falling into the losses in 2011-2012, BILLA's ROCE amounted to 5-10%.
