BIDV - Market Share in Bank Deposits

BIDV's customer deposits reached VND 922,223 bil in 2017, up 19.3% compared to the previous year.

Vietnamese banking sector accepted customer deposits of VND 6,810,038 bil in 2017, up 14.6% when compared to the last year.

BIDV accounted for 13.5% of all customer deposits taken by banks in Vietnam at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in customer deposits reached an all time high of 15.3% in 2008 and an all time low of 9.80% in 2013.

That's compared to a 12.4% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
