In 2012, Baumax reported the worst results in the last decade. Total sales amounted to CZK 4,365 mil, which is nearly 24% down compared to the record 2007 year. As far as profitability is concerned, the Company's loss has deepened to nearly CZK 300 mil in 2012.
From making more than 5% EBIT margin in 2007, the Company's EBIT dropped to a loss equal to 5.2% of sales in 2012.
