Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 8.18% in 4Q2011 and an all time low of 0.870% in 2Q2017. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 1.41%.
Average asset yield was 5.93% in 4Q2023, up from 5.62% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 5.10% in 4Q2023, up from 4.61%.
When compared to bank's main peers, CSOB operated in the fourth quarter of 2023 with a net interest margin of 1.51% and Komercni Banka reached 1.66%.
