Historically, bank tier 1 ratio in Germany reached an all time high of 17.7% in 4Q2023 and an all time low of 9.26% in 4Q2008. When compared to Germany's main peers, bank tier 1 ratio in Austria amounted to 18.2%, 18.0% in Belgium, 17.2% in France and 17.9% in Poland in 1Q2024.
