Historically, bank tier 1 ratio in France reached an all time high of 17.4% in 1Q2023 and an all time low of 8.42% in 4Q2008. When compared to France's main peers, bank tier 1 ratio in Belgium amounted to 18.0%, 17.6% in Germany, 17.0% in Italy and 14.6% in Spain in 1Q2024.
