Bank Rakyat's capital adequacy ratio reached 22.8% at the end of 2019, up from 21.2% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 23.0% in 2017 and an all time low of 13.2% in 2008.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 21.7% at the end of 2019, up from 20.2% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 85.8% at the end of 2019, down from 86.4% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 77.1%.
