Bank Pocztowy's capital adequacy ratio reached 17.8% at the end of 2017, up from 14.4% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 17.8% in 2017 and an all time low of 12.9% in 2013.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 14.5% at the end of 2017, up from 11.1% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 78.2% at the end of 2017, down from 89.4% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing Bank Pocztowy with its closest peers, PKO BP ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 17.4% and loans to deposits of 94.0%, Alior Bank with 15.2% and 89.0% respectively and Idea Bank some 14.0% in terms of capital adequacy and 93.0% of loans to deposits at the end of 2017.
