Bank of Communications's capital adequacy ratio reached 14.4% at the end of 2018, up from 14.0% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 14.4% in 2007 and an all time low of 10.8% in 2006.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 12.2% at the end of 2018, up from 11.9% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 77.0% at the end of 2018, down from 80.4% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 69.6%.
