Bank of China's capital adequacy ratio reached 15.0% at the end of 2018, up from 14.2% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 15.0% in 2018 and an all time low of 10.0% in 2004.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 12.3% at the end of 2018, up from 12.0% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 77.4% at the end of 2018, down from 77.9% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 60.2%.
