On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 11.0% at the end of 2019, up from 3.08% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 20.2% in 2007 and an all time low of -3.32% in 2002. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 11.3%.
At the end of 2019, Bank Mandiri's loans accounted for 97.1% of total deposits and 68.7% of total assets.
