Bank loans rose 8.76% to UGX 17,707 bil in Uganda in 2021, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of UGX 17,707 bil in 2021 and an all time low of UGX 1,289 bil in 2005.
Uganda has been ranked 10th within the group of 72 countries we follow in terms of bank loans, 11 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
