Historically, bank loans growth in USD terms in Panama reached an all time high of 18.2% in 2011 and an all time low of 1.29% in 2017. When compared to Panama's main peers, bank loans growth in USD terms in Colombia amounted to 7.27%, 5.20% in Costa Rica, 10.3% in Honduras and 9.88% in Nicaragua in 2017.
