Nominal bank loans growth fell 44.3% to 3.42% in Guatemala in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, nominal bank loans growth in Guatemala reached an all time high of 18.9% in 2012 and an all time low of 3.42% in 2017. When compared to Guatemala's main peers, nominal bank loans growth in Belize amounted to 2.71%, 7.85% in El Salvador, 9.90% in Honduras and 14.7% in Nicaragua in 2017.
