Nominal bank loans growth fell 57.5% to 1.29% in Panama in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, nominal bank loans growth in Panama reached an all time high of 18.2% in 2011 and an all time low of 1.29% in 2017. When compared to Panama's main peers, nominal bank loans growth in Colombia amounted to 6.23%, 8.02% in Costa Rica, 9.90% in Honduras and 14.7% in Nicaragua in 2017.
