Bank equity as a share of bank assets rose 11.7% to 7.48% in Portugal in 2023, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Portugal reached an all time high of 7.92% in 2019 and an all time low of 4.40% in 2008.
