Bank equity as a share of bank assets fell 6.11% yoy to 5.36% in Ukraine in 2Q2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 9.54% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Ukraine reached an all time high of 12.8% in 1Q2010 and an all time low of 3.22% in 3Q2015.
Ukraine has been ranked 57th within the group of 62 countries we follow in terms of bank equity as a share of bank assets, 23 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
