Bank equity as a share of bank assets fell 3.24% to 6.32% in Poland in 2023, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Poland reached an all time high of 10.0% in 2017 and an all time low of 6.32% in 2023. When compared to Poland's main peers, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Czechia amounted to 6.33%, 7.29% in Germany, 8.08% in Russia and 4.98% in Ukraine in 2023.

Poland has been ranked 90th within the group of 111 countries we follow in terms of bank equity as a share of bank assets, 34 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
