Bank equity as a share of bank assets fell 2.18% yoy to 7.22% in Malaysia in 1Q2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 5.52% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Malaysia reached an all time high of 9.24% in 4Q2015 and an all time low of 6.70% in 1Q2007.
