Bank Equity (As % of Bank Assets) fell 0.646% yoy to 15.4% in Uganda in 3Q2024

Bank equity as a share of bank assets fell 0.646% yoy to 15.4% in Uganda in 3Q2024, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.55% less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Uganda reached an all time high of 16.2% in 1Q2023 and an all time low of 8.76% in 2Q2005.

Uganda has been ranked 3rd within the group of 24 countries we follow in terms of bank equity as a share of bank assets, 11 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
