Bank deposits as a share of GDP rose 0.970% to 55.6% in Togo in 2015, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Togo reached an all time high of 55.6% in 2015 and an all time low of 23.8% in 2006. When compared to Togo's main peers, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Benin amounted to 42.2%, 39.8% in Burkina Faso, 30.1% in Ghana and 18.3% in Nigeria in 2015.

Togo has been ranked 66th within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of bank deposits as a share of GDP, 12 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
