Bank deposits as a share of GDP rose 0.818% to 31.4% in Mali in 2015, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Mali reached an all time high of 31.4% in 2015 and an all time low of 13.5% in 2006. When compared to Mali's main peers, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Algeria amounted to 49.5%, 39.8% in Burkina Faso, 29.6% in Mauritania and 18.6% in Niger in 2015.
