Bank Deposits (As % of GDP) fell 23.1% to 76.4% in Seychelles in 2015

Bank deposits as a share of GDP fell 23.1% to 76.4% in Seychelles in 2015, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Seychelles reached an all time high of 212% in 2008 and an all time low of 72.5% in 2009. When compared to Seychelles's main peers, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Comoros amounted to 32.4%, 19.2% in Madagascar, 48.0% in Maldives and 228% in Mauritius in 2015.

Seychelles has been ranked 44th within the group of 137 countries we follow in terms of bank deposits as a share of GDP, 23 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
