Bank deposits as a share of GDP fell 5.15% to 29.3% in Senegal in 2015, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Senegal reached an all time high of 30.9% in 2014 and an all time low of 22.0% in 2011. When compared to Senegal's main peers, bank deposits as a share of GDP in Gambia amounted to 27.7%, 19.5% in Guinea, 31.4% in Mali and 29.6% in Mauritania in 2015.
