Historically, bank deposits in Costa Rica reached an all time high of USD 30.1 bil in 2015 and an all time low of USD 19.3 bil in 2010. When compared to Costa Rica's main peers, bank deposits in Guatemala amounted to USD 25.2 bil, USD 10.8 bil in Honduras, USD 5.11 bil in Nicaragua and USD 49.0 bil in Panama in 2015.
