Bank deposits rose 21.2% to USD 3.71 bil in Kosovo in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank deposits in Kosovo reached an all time high of USD 3.71 bil in 2017 and an all time low of USD 2.44 bil in 2010. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, bank deposits in Albania amounted to USD 10.5 bil, USD 6.64 bil in Macedonia, USD 3.87 bil in Montenegro and USD 21.5 bil in Serbia in 2017.
Kosovo has been ranked 80th within the group of 101 countries we follow in terms of bank deposits, 80 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
