Historically, bank deposits in Cameroon reached an all time high of XAF 4,814 bil in 2020 and an all time low of XAF 1,440 bil in 2005. When compared to Cameroon's main peers, bank deposits in Central African Republic amounted to XAF 215 bil, XAF 887 bil in Chad, XAF 1,970 bil in Gabon and NGN 32,381 bil in Nigeria in 2020.
