Historically, bank deposits in Costa Rica reached an all time high of CRC 24,448 bil in 2020 and an all time low of CRC 9,886 bil in 2010. When compared to Costa Rica's main peers, bank deposits in Guatemala amounted to GTQ 305 bil, HNL 438 bil in Honduras, NIO 152 bil in Nicaragua and PAB 57.4 bil in Panama in 2020.
