Nominal bank deposits growth rose 22.8% to 23.0% in Egypt in 2015, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, nominal bank deposits growth in Egypt reached an all time high of 23.6% in 2013 and an all time low of 5.57% in 2009. When compared to Egypt's main peers, nominal bank deposits growth in Israel amounted to 6.90%, -26.9% in Libya, 2.26% in Saudi Arabia and 18.9% in Sudan in 2015.
