Bank deposits growth in USD terms fell 63.8% to 4.40% in Mauritania in 2015, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank deposits growth in USD terms in Mauritania reached an all time high of 30.9% in 2007 and an all time low of 4.40% in 2015. When compared to Mauritania's main peers, bank deposits growth in USD terms in Algeria amounted to -12.6%, -0.917% in Mali, -8.94% in Morocco and -8.26% in Senegal in 2015.

Mauritania has been ranked 37th within the group of 135 countries we follow in terms of bank deposits growth in USD terms, 37 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
