Historically, bank deposits in Belize reached an all time high of USD 1.33 bil in 2016 and an all time low of USD 0.615 bil in 2004. When compared to Belize's main peers, bank deposits in Guatemala amounted to USD 30.7 bil, USD 13.1 bil in Honduras, USD 358 bil in Mexico and USD 13,143 bil in USA in 2017.
