Bank assets fell 1.33% to USD 1.57 bil in Belize in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank assets in Belize reached an all time high of USD 1.60 bil in 2015 and an all time low of USD 0.291 bil in 1993. When compared to Belize's main peers, bank assets in Guatemala amounted to USD 42.1 bil, USD 22.0 bil in Honduras, USD 455 bil in Mexico and USD 17,631 bil in USA in 2017.
