Banca Nazionale del Lavoro's capital adequacy ratio reached 9.70% at the end of first quarter of 2007, up from 8.60% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 11.9% in 4Q2004 and an all time low of 8.60% in 4Q2005.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 6.90% at the end of first quarter of 2007, down from 6.90% compared to the same period of last year and up from 5.80% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 97.1% at the end of 1Q2007, down from 97.1% when compared to the same period of last year.
