Historically, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Armenia reached an all time high of 16.1 litres in 2021 and an all time low of 4.61 litres in 2003. When compared to Armenia's main peers, alcoholic beverage consumption per capita in Azerbaijan amounted to 62.3 litres, 39.9 litres in Georgia, 1.15 litres in Iran and 15.3 litres in Turkey in 2021.
Armenia has been ranked 109th within the group of 163 countries we follow in terms of alcoholic beverage consumption per capita, 20 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
