Historically, foreign debt in Ghana reached an all time high of USD 36,182 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 542 bil in 1971. When compared to Ghana's main peers, foreign debt in Benin amounted to USD 6,864 bil, USD 29,752 bil in Ivory Coast and USD 3,467 bil in Togo in 2021.
